Winona Rasheed lives in Washington D.C. with her husband of 34 years. She and her husband have raised six children. Her 13 grandchildren add a lot of inspiration to the stories that she writes. Says Winona, "It doesn't matter if you are 6 or 106, you will enjoy the story telling through the pages of my books. Good books last a long time and great stories never grow old. If you ask me, books are like diamonds...treasures to behold. Good books may become tattered and worn, but the stories live on in our memories."
